
At Caricature.ie, we want you to be delighted with your purchase and strive to provide a smooth and enjoyable experience for all our customers.
As all caricatures are personalised and custom-made to your specifications, they are non-refundable once work has commenced.
If you wish to cancel your order shortly after placing it, please contact us as soon as possible. Where work has not yet begun on your caricature, we may be able to cancel the order and issue a refund at our discretion.

Change of Mind Returns
Under Irish and EU consumer law, you have the right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days of receiving your order.
If you wish to return an item because it is unwanted or unsuitable, you must notify us within 14 days of delivery. Once you have informed us of your decision, you have a further 14 days to return the item.
To be eligible for a refund, the item must be:
- Unused and in resalable condition
- Returned with all original packaging, accessories and documentation
- Accompanied by a Returns Authorisation Code obtained from our customer service team
Before returning any item, please contact us here or by email at info@caricature.ie to request a Returns Authorisation Code. We recommend using a tracked postal or courier service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost during transit.
Customers are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in their possession. We reserve the right to reduce any refund where the value of the goods has been diminished through handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics or functioning of the item.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty or damaged:
- Caricatures are none refundable once the work commences
- Personalised or custom-made products created to your specifications
- Perishable goods, including food, chocolates, beverages and hamper contents
- Sealed items that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once opened
- Earrings, grooming products, underwear, swimwear, bath products and pillows where hygiene regulations apply
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within a reasonable period of receiving your order.
Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, we will offer an appropriate remedy which may include:
- A replacement item
- A repair (where applicable)
- A full refund
Please contact us before returning the item so that we can provide return instructions and a Returns Authorisation Code.
Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used when placing the order. Refunds are typically issued within 5–10 working days, although processing times may vary depending on your bank or card provider.
Where a customer cancels an order under their statutory cooling-off rights, the original standard delivery charge will also be refunded. However, any enhanced or express delivery charges are non-refundable.
Order Cancellations
Personalised caricatures, Personalised gits such as engraved, embroidered, printed or custom-made products are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation period. Once production has commenced, these orders cannot be cancelled or refunded unless the item is faulty or supplied incorrectly.
Returns Address
Please do not return items without first obtaining a Returns Authorisation Code. Once your return request has been approved, we will provide the appropriate return address and instructions.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under Irish consumer law.

Missing Deliveries
If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery timeframe, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can investigate with the courier.
